My name is Matthew Biolsi and I have been doing CrossFit since 2008. I started CrossFit while serving overseas and have become addicted to it ever since. I became certified Level 1 in February of 2012 and have been coaching at CrossFit gyms in Clarksville since April of 2012.

CrossFit is more than my job, it is my passion. I spend my days researching new techniques and reviewing the programs from specialists in their fields and apply them to my programming.  I am the author of our “Created in the Lab” weekly blog article,where I go over various topics. I do all of The Lab’s programming and I have personally coached/programmed for multiple modalities and sports including Special Forces Assessments Candidates, Athletes who have qualified for the National Youth Championships in USA Weightlifting, CrossFit Competitions, and Division 1 football players.   I know my athletes and check in on them when they miss class or are not meeting their goals. I am a firm believer that CrossFit makes us better human beings by helping us move better, be better examples to our kids by living healthier lifestyles, and most importantly brings us together as a community. The Clarksville CrossFit community is filled with individuals who love to help each other and see each other succeed. We all have our strengths and we all have our weaknesses but in this community we have found a group of like minded individuals that will help each other at the drop of a hat and there is no community i would rather be apart of.

Operating this gym is my dream. I love to help people live healthier lifestyles and prove to people that the word “can’t” should be banned from the “American vocabulary”. My goal is to spread the word of functional fitness to as many people as I can. Coaching CrossFit classes is the highlight of my day and look forward to helping everyone that I can.
